Second Hand Smoke

Secondhand smoking is almost as dangerous as smoking. Second hand smoke increases the risk of heart disease and lung cancer. The only place you can be risk free from secondhand smoke is a smoke free environment. Just last year 3 thousand nonsmokers died of lung cancer, 46 thousand from heart disease, and 430 hundred newborns died from sudden infant death syndrome. In secondhand smoke there are 50 cancer-causing chemicals. This may cause various heath issues in a wide variety in age.

It's not fair that people who don't smoke are still affected by it! People who smoke around other people are very selfish and shouldn't put other people at risk for getting heart disease and lung cancer!

It's is really not cool when you walk out of a store and have to hold your breath because someone else is smoking. It is rude your putting more than just yourself at risk.

Just think of how many kids are exposed to second hand smoke from their parents for their entire childhood, and the negitive effects it could bring upon their child later in life.

I agree with Shane. I feel so bad for little kids who grow up with smoking parents. It makes me sad. I hate smoking and I hate when people smoke around me. Its the grossest thing. And personally, to me its the biggest turn off.
